How to configure a new stack for Data Flow Platform

How to configure a new stack for Data Flow Platform

You can initiate configuring a new stack from a few different places:
  • On the Home page, "Configure stack" button on the Stacks statistics block.
  • On the Stacks page, the "Configure new stack" button on the top page
  • On the Projects page, select Project where you want to configure a new stack at, then the "Configure new stack" button on the top page
Once you initiate "Configure new stack," follow the steps on the Configure a new Stack page:
  1. Select the Project where you want to deploy the new stack at.
  2. Select the cloud Target Platform, such as Amazon AWS.
  3. Choose Data Flow Platform
  4. Enter the stack name. Stack names must be unique within the project.
  5. (Optionally) Add description for the stack.
Once you configure a new stack, you can customize the stack settings on the Stack page before deploying the stack to your cloud environment. For example, if you configure a new stack of Data Flow Platform on AWS cloud provider, you will see the list of following components:
Each component has reasonable default values for each setting so that you don't need to define all configuration values. However, you need to provide your account-specific configuration values. See How to customize Data Flow Platform for detail.
